Frozen strawberry daiquiri

Doing 1

  • 1/2 gram fresh lime juice (less acid, dilution adds balance)
  • 3/4 gram simple syrup
  • 2 ounces Cana Brava 7 yr.
  • 2 strawberries, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions:
Add ingredients to blender before adding ice.
Add ice and stir 4-5 times to break up the ice and strawberries.
Mix on low speed for 15 seconds and then increase the speed to high for another 15 seconds.
Beat the blender on a hard surface several times to release the contents and pour into a cup glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and serve.
